Fair Day

In the lead up to the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras, Google reached out to see if I would design their Fair Day 2019 tent and activate the space with activities and merchandise that promoted inclusivity and encouraged community engagement.

The project involved designing large feature walls for fair goers to strike a pose with custom designed props. There was professional lighting set up and Google LGBT employees, known as the Gayglers, were on hand to take photos and meet community members.

I also designed stickers and tee-shirts that could be won by spinning the google wheel, which was also facilitated by the Gaygler team.

On the day the space was bursting with colour and a consistent buzz with hundreds of people snapping selfies, trying their luck spinning the wheel and meeting members of the Google community.
